The School of Nursing (FAEN) of the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University (UANL), has implemented and applied a Quality Management System based on the International Regulation ISO 9001:2008, by the International Organism of TÜV SÜD Certification, America of Mexico (Publicly Limited Company), operating on Monterrey, N.L, Mexico.
The first certification of this international organism was gotten on October the 1st, 2005, with the International Regulation ISO 9001:2000. Since the second Certification that was obtained on October the 1st, 2009; it was with the International Regulation ISO 9001:2008. For the third and fourth time, the FAEN obtains the Re-certification on 2012 and 2015, respectively, being in force to February 8th, 2018, with a significance on the programs of: Nursing Bachelor’s Degree; Nursing Sciences Master’s Degree; Nursing Sciences Doctor’s Degree, Podiatry Associated Professional Program, and Continuous Education Programs, it should be mentioned that all the educative programs have a design.

For the development of the Quality Certification processes in the School of Nursing, it was considered the next: Vision, Mission, Quality Policy, Quality Objects, and Values.
